Selby Arabic Dance was formed in 2003 and has been steadily growing ever since. Led by Zara we explore many different aspects of middle eastern dance, using veil, cane, finger cymbals, candles and occasionally swords...! | Arabic, Middle Eastern, Oriental, Raqs Sharqi, Bellydance... whatever you choose to call the dance, one thing is certain, it gives women the chance to express themselves and feel good about their individuality. Arabic dance is a beautifully expressive, creative artform and can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of ability, size or age so why not come along and give it a try - it might just change your life!
